A deck of 54 cards to teach the roles musicians play in small group improvisation settings. The cards cover four “suits” – basic skills, support roles, playing in various musical styles, and using silence and contrast. On the back of each card is a different evocative picture that can be used to inspire “sound track” improvisations based on the picture’s content and mood.
